A fortune 100 health insurance company is looking for a Procurement Coordinator
in the Thousand Oaks area.
 
Job Overview:
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91362
Duration: 5 Months
Hours: 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM
Job Details:


  • Entry Level Position
  • Responsible for providing assistance and support to the purchasing department.
  • Solicits quotes from vendors and documents price reasonableness.
  • Develops requisitions and maintain files.
  • Maintains purchase log for all requisitions and PO's.
  • Gathers and compiles data to maintain SADBUS file for reporting vendor participation by business types.
  • Keeps running inventory of printed material stored in warehouse, fulfillment house, and material shipped to offices.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Requires a high school diploma; 1-2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires good accounting, project management, analytical, and organizational skills. Candidates should at least have demonstrated aptitude for learning, organization ability. They should know MS Office Solution.
  • Procurement background or Supply Chain Background.
  • The role in the team is to support Procurement related question that may come from Business Unit and Suppliers.
