ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





Serve as project leader to drive development teams in new product execution. Assure that projects/products remain on target to meet established production timelines, budgets, quality standards, consumer needs, and cost targets.
Work with all aspects of the organization and act as cross-functional support in all related development activities.
Work closely with Global Sourcing, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure adherence to product quality, agreed upon cost/ schedule and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
Interact closely with and drive internal teams during design and development to insure adherence to product requirements, established quality standards and customer specifications.
Coordinate with the Technical Writing Group to develop assembly instructions, owner’s and service manuals and troubleshooting documentation.
Assist team with product training materials and presentations, and conduct product training sessions with domestic and international sales and customer service teams as required.
Develop and manage detailed project plans and budgets.
Work with all aspects of the organization in striving to meet corporate goals and objectives.






QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field. Degree in Engineering or Business, mechanical or electrical engineering focus a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of complex and cross-organizational project and program management experience, preferably in consumer products industry.
Knowledge of product development processes as it relates to durable goods; integration with software development processes a big plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to readily communicate complex technical information in an easy to understand format.
Ability to analyze, interpret, problem solve and present information to management, co-workers and business clients.
Must have excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft products; MS Project and SharePoint preferred
Experience with outside manufacturing processes, particularly in Asia helpful
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus, but not required
Ability to travel both domestic and international (<10% of time).
Must be comfortable working in a matrix environment. This role will report into the Vancouver, WA office.
