Project Coordinator Job in Omaha, NE
• Provide leadership and functional expertise in gathering requirements for a database integration project involving a recently acquired company. Work with 3rd party vendors to design expansion of existing, hosted database and incorporate the new company’s data and business processes.
• Develop and manage timeline and project plan while communicating progress and risks to management.
• Execute data management tasks as needed throughout the project and manage communication between parties to facilitate project completion.
• Working under general supervision and guidance, oversee data security and work with all necessary parties to establish secure data transfer and processing methods meeting PayPal information security and data privacy requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure data integrity throughout integration project. Database expertise and technical skills required.
Job Requirements:
• 7+ years of technical project management experience, including database management projects
• Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, ...)
• MBA a plus
• 3+ years of recent Microsoft SQL Server experience or equivalent
• Experience in Database Marketing a plus
• IBM Unica experience a plus
• Able to work in tandem with business partners to solve problems
• Able to translate high-level directions into practical projects and lead/drive their completion with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and an appreciation of diversity in teamwork
