Modis is currently seeking a Project Manager for Intelligent Process Automation, Governance and Compliance. This is a 12+ Month contract job with our top Retirement Planning & Financial Services client located in downtown Greensboro, NC  
About our client:
Our client is a Fortune 250 organization, and a national leader in life insurance, retirement planning and investment management services.   Over the past 12 months, they have invested heavily in designing and implementing intelligent automation concepts that have done away with traditional manual processes.  
This Governance Project Manager will be joining the PMO and will be overseeing all governance and compliance tasks tied to these intelligent automation projects.
- Partnering with the intelligent automation business units to help educate them on governance requirements
- Building out new processes and procedures to adequately monitor and track cost benefit analysis, change requests, issues and risk mitigation, amongst other things.
- Working with a knowledge of process improvement and intelligent process automation with tools such as UiPath, WorkFusion, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Cognitive or Intelligent Automation, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), Intelligent Word Recognition (IWR), etc.
- Establishing strong working relationships with business / functional project managers on these intelligent automation and process improvement projects
- Serving as the resident authority for governance and compliance requirements, and working to influence and evolve an approach to meet those requirements
- Creating and managing a weekly status report for the digital intelligent automation team
- Ensuring that the team is ready in the event of an audit
- Escalating appropriate dependencies, risks, issues and communications to the Lead Program Manager
- Supporting the creation and evolution of key program metrics
- Required Bachelor Degree in a Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- 5+ years working in a Corporate Governance or Compliance related role
- Some knowledge and experience related to process improvement or intelligent automation concepts is required

Contract Duration: 12+ months
Possibility of FTE Conversion: Yes
Compensation / Pay Rate: $65 - 75 / hour W2 ($135,000 - $155,000 annually)
