Job Description:
The Project Manager II position will be involved on projects including, but not limited to, financial governance, internal controls, and other special projects, as well as some administrative tasks.
Essential responsibilities include:
• Performs monthly SOX monitoring on access controls for large user based applications.
• Independently analyzes data, develops audit project plans, which identify key issues and problems.
• Proposes process solutions to address identified problems.
• Performs audits, analyzes and summarizes results and effectively communicates audit results to management level.
• Utilizes Project Management Skills to manage tasks/projects from beginning to end.
• Performs, coordinates and manages SOX testing for the Region.
• Establishes effective professional business relationships with all levels of management.
• Ability to work in large groups in a professional and effective manner.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a highly demanding and deadline driven environment
• Must have strong organizational and tracking skills.
• Perform other routine administrative tasks, including setting meetings, etc.
• Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.
• Education Required: BA or BS Business & Accounting
• Skills Required: Microsoft Word, Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio
• 5-10 years of audit, SOX and project management background
• Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Statements
• Strong work paper/ documentation experience
• Licenses & Certificates: CPA, CIA, or CISA
• Experience in performing financial statements and/or operational audits
• Application Access Control Experience
• Health Care
