A Project Manager job in Perrysburg, OH is available through Modis. As the Project Manager, you will lead project planning, along with defining, estimating and scheduling project work. You will need to make sure that the overall project is kept on schedule and within budget, and if not, take corrective action to make sure that all project goals are met. Further, having experience with SAP is required, using it to write purchase requisitions, converting purchase requisitions, and monitor orders. You will be a key person in developing organizational goals and direction, along with communicating recovery and mitigation plans. You need to have excellent verbal and written communication, and can easily interact with various groups within the company.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Providing supervision and direction for project teams of up to 20 personnel with significant potential impact for the corporation, and function as a single point of contact for project execution, scheduling, forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
• Planning and executing complex, larger projects. Assisting in formulating project concepts.
• Performing project planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting and tracking. Facilitating project team meetings and activities.
• Working closely with program manager and project technical lead to meet project requirements
• Ensuring all project data is comprehensive, accurate and available to incorporate into the program portfolio and governance processes.
• Assessing the impact of new requirements to the existing project and work with discipline managers and project technical lead to develop strategies to meet project demands.
• Management of diverse technical resources including Chemistry, Material Science, Machinery, Physics, Heat Transfer, and Advanced Process Control.
• Use SAP to write purchase requisition, convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and monitor actuals and receive orders
• Understanding project financial data, value proposition, and business linkage

The Project Manager will direct projects with up to 20 dedicated engineers and scientists and budgets exceeding $10MM annually. Project value propositions can exceed $100MM for the corporation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, along with PMP certification
• Three (3) years of hands on experience working as a Project Manager
• Experience in Product Development, Process redevelopment, R&D, and/or business processes
• Experience using SAP for purchase requisitions, purchase orders and monitoring orders
• Advanced contractual financial data understanding (fixed price, time & materials, etc.) and prices (margins, taxes, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques for entire project lifecycle and across all knowledge areas.
• Project Management experience specifically related to Supply Chain, HR, Finance, communication, marketing/Sales is highly preferred
