Job Description (General Overview of the Role):
• Project manager to support project across a wide variety of functions, including vendor management and assessment, communication and presentation development for management and the broader company community, and coordination and contribution to project activities and milestones.
 
 
Job Responsibilities (Day to Day Activities of the Role):
• Coordination of requirements, scope, and change management activities; project organization and general support including organizing events and travel; workshop development and execution with business representatives; managing interfaces with vendors including coordination of demos and evaluations and subsequent follow ups; drafting vendor requirements; preparing management and stakeholder presentations and project reports; coordinating with the internal Procurement organization; contributing to design and evaluation of solution architecture and vendor selection.
 
 
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Draft project deliverables; coordinate project activities; prepare communications for management and broader company organization; coordinate Procurement engagement and deliverables.
 
 
Required Skills:
 
• Soft Skills:
o Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, and employ judgment to offer thoughtful, concise input toward resolutions of problems.
o Be able to translate business processes into data workflow requirements and feature requirements
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong English proficiency
o Leadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team.
o This is a hands on role and the consultant should be able to work independently with business and also in a team environment
o Ability to rapidly understand/learn business processes and objectives
o Must be able to easily communicate technical concepts and requirements to business end users who are not familiar with IT principles and concepts
 
 
• Technical Skills:
o Thorough comprehension of DevOps and Agile development and application
o Experience utilizing Agile team tools such as Team Foundation Server and Kanban boards
o Experience in data modeling (physical and logical), ER diagrams, data dictionary, data map, normalize/de-normalize, agile data modeling
o Expert in data manipulation tools such as Access, Excel
 
 
Desired Skills or Experience:
o Experience with capital projects, particularly in supporting the execution and construction phases of oil & gas projects.
o Demonstrated understanding of IT Project Management concepts
o Strong knowledge of written and digital Project Management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Team Foundation Server, and Kanban boards
o Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field.
o Practical skill sets in Data visualization tools
o Expert in designing test cases to evaluate software against different criteria for a range of users.
o Basic Project Management and Business Process modeling
