A Point of Sale (POS) Quality Assurance Tester (QA) job inBoise,ID is available on a contract basis courtesy of Modis Engineering. There is a strong view that this role could tern permanent for the right individual.



Working in a technical lab with a tenured team, there will be a lot of training invested in this individual for POS, hardware updates, configuration and customer requirements. If you’re a quick learner, has a keen eye for attention to detail and don’t mind some daily repetitive tasks – apply now!

Point of Sale (POS) Quality Assurance Tester (QA) job responsibilities include:


POS QA Testing
Hardware/Software Testing
Data Entry
Create test documentation
Identify/isolate defects and clearly document defect characteristics



QUALIFICATIONS:


MinimumrequirementHigh SchoolDiploma
Desired 1 year plus with technical hardware/software upgrades, testing etc.
Prior experience with POS hardware preferred
Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and Word/Outlook etc.
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience a plus
Ability to effectively communicate both written and spoken with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a team environment
