A QA job in Greensboro, NC is available through Modis. This is a long term, direct hire job opportunity within an exciting, growing software company. The ideal QA will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least seven years of experience working in a similar capacity.

The QA will evaluate, design, develop, and execute testing procedures to ensure quality standards including:

Writing/defining test plans/cases/scripts independently based on requirements
WCAG testing
Security testing
Manual testing
Performance/Load testing
Responsive testing
Usability testing
Cross-device, OS, Browser testing
Data validation
Automated testing

Qualifications for the QA are as follows:

Bachelor's degree + 7 years of QA experience (equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable)
Deep knowledge of software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies
Extensive experience generating complex data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows
Extensive experience testing more complex features and solutions
Strong SQL experience
Microsoft Test Manager experience
Experience working on critical, high visibility projects
Ability to become a specialist across technical and business matters

Preferred experience:

Both Web and Client/Server application experience
Experience in a lead role
Visual Studio Team Server (VSTS) / Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Agile Scrum
Repeated experience defining test environments; including tools, processes, procedures, standards and policy
