An R&D Hardware Engineer job in Winston-Salem, NC is available through Modis. Our client, who is one of the best-known and most respected names in the medical devices and supplies industry, is seeking an experienced R&D Hardware Engineer will be responsible for partnering with partners & suppliers to design, test and technically document the feasibility, construction and production process of new and/or changed medical products.


Leading & supervising the design of analog and digital electronics including PCB design, and the design of embedded systems within medical devices
Collaborating with suppliers & partners


BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; MS preferred
Minimum of 7-10 years of engineering work experience developing electronic equipment in the medical device field
Design of analog and digital electronics including PCB design
Design of embedded systems within medical device
Must have Strong working knowledge of IEC 60601 and collateral standards, including EMC testing
Electronic troubleshooting, including use of standard measurement equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes)
Manufacture and test of Medical Electronic Equipment
Must have strong knowledge of with QS requirements for medical (CFR 820, ISO13485, EN14971)
