Modis is currently seeking an Organized and Proactive Recruiter for an AWESOME Contract-to-Hire opportunity with one of our top financial clients, located in the Financial District of Chicago- Just a 5 minute walk from Ogilvie/Union Train Stations!
 
Minimum Requirements for this Recruiter:
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in an HR related field)
• 3 to 5 years professional work experience as a Recruiter
• Extensive experience using a web based applicant tracking system (ATS), Taleo preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
• Strong project management skills to own and drive client engagements
• Experience assessing workflows, and recommending process improvements
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and recommend staffing solutions
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a diverse client base
 
Daily Responsibilities of this Recruiter:
• Recruits, screens, interviews and recommends placement of candidates for administrative/operational, professional, technical and managerial positions from both internal and external sources.
• Posts hiring opportunities in applicant tracking system (ATS) and other tools (i.e. ads in magazines, Internet portals or local newspapers) to initiate recruiting efforts. Maintains effective working relationships with a diverse talent network, including placement agencies, colleges, technical schools, and job fairs.
• Works closely with Sr Recruiters and Manager to ensure adequate coverage of staffing needs. Extends offers to selected applicants and may arrange for relocation when necessary.
• Keeps informed of developments in such areas as wages and salaries, employee benefits, and general staffing practices.
• Builds and maintains productive relationships with hiring managers, internal top talent and employee support groups.
• Works with recruiting team at on-site and off-site recruitment events including job fairs, college recruiting fairs, and trade shows.
• Maintains accurate documentation for all candidate search activities to ensure a thorough audit, if required.
• May make presentations to senior management and/or the HR Committee regarding recruiting initiatives.
 
We are able to offer a competitive pay rate of $25-$30 /hour W2.
