Modis is currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Engineer for our client based in Beaverton, OR. You will will help ensure that the products meet the applicable regulatory requirements for the different markets and obtain the appropriate safety and environmental certifications. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure new products are meeting the applicable regulatory requirements, safety and environmental certifications in the different markets/countries
Work with different stakeholders to ensure compliance and communicate the impact of any new or change in regulations that might affect existing and new business
Provide direction to the development teams on product regulatory compliance
Control the application and documentation of all regulatory certifications


BS or MS in Engineering or related fields is preferred and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in regulatory compliance engineering
Technical background in electronics and knowledge on safety and emissions compliance
Knowledge of state, national and international safety and environmental requirements
Experience writing technical documents and building technical construction files
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Strong business acumen and communication skills
