Description:
 
Leads the delivery of a complex project. Maintains a tactical focus. Sets clear objectives and defined deliverables. Develops cost benefit analyses for the project, communicates to an executive committee, creates and reports project status utilizing a dashboard, allocates resources, defines project governance policies and manages the financial concerns. Utilizes and effectively communicates technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. Ability to lead a cross-functional team while motivating team members to their highest potential. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Interfaces effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Effectively utilizes external vendors and internal resources. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines. Experience Level: 2+ years of experience required. Education: BA/BS Degree or 4 years of additional experience required.
 
The individual in this role will work with the release management team to support day-to-day activities supporting release management including the following:  1. Create and update project plans, issue and risk logs for each release, 2. Plan agenda and run daily defect triage calls as required, 3. Plan agenda and run change control board and capacity planning meetings with development.
 
Experience required
Ideal candidate has 2+ years release manager experience, systems implementation experience, detail oriented, and experiencing deploying multiple releases in a year. Must have strong communication experience, both written and verbal.
 
Responsibilities
• Facilitate daily defect triage and release management calls across development and testing Teams
• Review and audit defects to ensure they are triaged and resolved for all releases.  
• Schedule and facilitate requirement walkthroughs with development and testing teams.
• Conduct requirements audit and ensure materials are distributed to development and testing teams.
• Execute change control board (CCB) meetings to schedule enhancement requests into planned releases.
• Manage process to obtain levels of effort for enhancement requests from development and testing teams.
• Document release scope lists and distribute to stakeholders.
• Document Sharepoint repositories with build delivery dates for all enhancements included in a release.  
• Audit requirements documents to ensure completeness prior to submitting content to vendor teams.  
• The resource can work remotely with approval from their manager.  Up to 20% remote work is allowed after 3 months.
• No promise to convert, but the position may convert based on business needs and budget after 1 year.
• Prefer experience with Agile/rapid development cycles.
• Must have BA/BS degree and 2 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma/GED and minimum 6 years relevant experience.
