Position Overview
This position contributes to the success of the company by providing excellent in-house repair capabilities. This
position reports to the RMA Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
• Diagnose bench repair items in timely fashion/make cost estimates & recommendations
• Monitor in-house bench repairs to ensure appropriate turnaround time
• Accurate completion of repair and paperwork
• Technical aptitude & electronics experience
• Must be able to troubleshoot down to component level
• Familiarity with ID Technology equipment or printing equipment
• Electronic & mechanical assembly
o Installs components, such printed circuit boards according to specifications
o Uses electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools
o Customizing, adjusting and repairing according to written specifications
• Have Solid computer & typing skills and being able to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel & Word.
• Have good Verbal and Written communication skills
• Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools
• Being able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets and written work instructions.
• HS Diploma/GED
• Associate’s degree in electronic technology
Other Skills/Abilities which will ensure success
• Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
• Be will organized and able to multi-task
