A Rhapsody Integration Engineer job in Denver CO is available through Modis Engineering on a 6-month contract with extension and to-hire options. To be considered for this position you need to possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with seven or more years of IT/application experience including experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine, programming concepts, application development, and software development life cycle process and methodologies. In this position, you will be overseeing complex configurations, developing test plans, directing application coding updates, and overseeing other developers in managing break fixes. Further responsibilities include providing level 2 and 3 support, overseeing technical resources, and leading efforts with vendors.

Rhapsody Integration Engineer job responsibilities include:
• Oversees complex configuration of application instances based on user and vendor requirements
• Develops test plans and leads testing of applications, application interfaces and reporting
• Works with other technical staff, users and leadership to help them understand potential application functionality, development approaches, possible enhancements and process improvements
• Directs and supervises application coding updates and revisions processes
• Acts as a general internal consultant on development and technical initiatives
• Oversees documentation for applications and enhancements
• Supports standardization of documentation and processes within ITS
• Oversees other developers in managing break fixes
• Manages the most complex change management requests
• Collaborates in team environments and independently with vendors, business partners and IT teams on projects, support, application development and standardization
• Provides Level 2 and 3 support
• Oversees and coordinates technical resources involved in assisting business partners and users in creating requirements and specification creation
• Collaborates with business and facility leadership on development of application standardization
• Leads efforts with key vendors to understand future application product plans
• Leads in defining application architecture and setting future architecture
• Works with IT staff to integrate processes with application functionality
• Leads the growth and development of application IT staff through education, activities and mentoring in support of the software applications
• Consults closely with user committees as a liaison to application groups
• Maintains relationships with management to coordinate daily operations
• Leads IT staff to develop, standardize and maintain documentation
• Works closely with business advisory groups in assessing needs and developing business plans
• Works with Technical Analysts on planning implementation and major upgrades of applications
• Works with Application Analysts on planning for maintenance releases, problem resolution, and requirements and specification designs
• Works closely with other technical teams to plan and implement infrastructure improvements
• May require some on-call coverage responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience on Rhapsody Integration Engine required
• 7+ years of total IT/application experience
• Technical knowledge with Product/Vendor Analysis and software support
• Experience working directly with vendors
• Experience in programming concepts, application development, and software development life cycle processes and methodologies. (mirrors Level II)
• Experience successfully delivering distributed, multi-tier software products to customers
• Cloverleaf knowledge preferred
• Experience with migration of integration engine platforms preferred
• Experience in ITIL environments preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
