We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Robotics Controls Engineer in Newburyport, MA. This is a direct hire role; salary requirements are 95K – 120K. Please email your resume to for immediate review


Conceive, simulate, design and execute robotic based automation systems for food and pharma industries with primary focus on primary and secondary packaging applications
Timely development of cost estimates for system quotations for both electrical and pneumatic controls systems.
Controls design including but not limited to robot controls and line control interface, process flow diagrams, panel layout etc.
Robotic and line control interface programming in accordance with industry and client guidelines.
Component specification, development of bills or materials, solicitation of vendor quotations and, with the assistance of purchasing, ordering of components in accordance with manufacturing requirements.
Execute risk assessments in accordance with industry specifications including applying knowledge of robotic system safety requirements and specifications.
Client communications as required to clarify questions, specification concerns or installation issues.


Bachelors of Engineering Degree (EE or ME) or equivalent from a four-year college or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing robotic solutions in an OEM environment.
Demonstrated experience with current Fanuc Robotics products.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC language required.


Current, proven working knowledge of Fanuc Robotics including but not limited to Karel language, RoboGuide, IRVision, PickTool, line tracking, simulation.
Demonstrated programming experience with Allen Bradley PLC/HMI hardware and software. Working knowledge of current the Rockwell Software suite of programming tools (Logix 5000, RSView ME, and PanelView ME)
Demonstrated experience conceiving, designing and implementing process controls on high speed machinery including closed loop controls, robots, rotary and linear indexing mechanisms with servo and VFD motors and drives, pneumatic and electric actuators
Desired process knowledge of: high-speed assembly, printing, packaging, robotics, materials handling systems and utility systems.
Demonstrated electrical design skills using AutoCAD. SolidWorks experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Must be able to influence individuals with and without supervisory authority and motivate others within an extended project team that includes outside contractors and vendors.
