Position Title: Sales Force Developer
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Develop detailed design and technical specifications.
•Develop, configure and test software to meet user requirements and associated acceptance criteria, performance criteria and non-functional requirements in line with quality standards.
•Ensure that test plans and test cases are created to meet quality, functional and non-functional requirements.
•Undertake qualitative peer reviews of the work activities of other development team members.
•Support the planning of sprints and executes their role in accordance with the agreed sprint plans.
•Support operational colleagues in resolving complex in-life software issues.
•Support the creation of detailed designs and technical specifications.
•Find opportunities to re-use existing components and actively reduces complexity and customization in the technology landscape.
•Work with other colleagues across platforms to assure integrated solutions.
•Apply code control and testing standards in accordance with Syngenta / industry standards.
•Work with end user community to deliver user experience and user acceptance testing on a continuous basis.
•Ensure being up to date with industry knowledge and relevant technology trends.
•Scope of activities to include;
o  Detailed Design
o  Coding and Testing
o  Peer Review / Pair Programming
o  Incident Resolution support
o  Root Cause Investigation & Remediation.
•Support the adoption of agile ways of working and working in a multi-supplier framework.
•Apply and coach other team members in the application of sprint planning, continuous testing and integration and user oriented showcasing.
•Use and encourage adoption of Syngenta supported agile tools.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development.
•Minimum 6 months in design, coding and testing of the specific technologies/applications they are accountable for delivering workable software.
•Good technical knowledge of the technologies for which they undertake coding and testing.
•Demonstrable directly-related experience of software development in a commercial environment.
•Strong planning and solution delivery skills to enable sound scoping and sprint planning skills.
•Detailed understanding of the technical architecture and software components that make up the applications under their control.
•Strong coding and testing skills.
