Job Description/Requirements:
o Description: An SAP process analyst as part of a global team that supports the trading, pricing, exchange and purchasing SAP functionality for our Downstream and Chemicals businesses. Much of the functionality is highly customized, but is built on top of the standard SAP MM and SD modules. This position will interface directly with power users, end users, ABAP developers and other IT colleagues. The position will be part of a global team that supports existing functionality, including fixing issues and implementing new solutions to meet changing business demand (e.g. enhancements). Responsibilities include troubleshooting, gathering requirements, developing technical design documents, working with the ABAP team to develop/test solutions, configuring the system, performing regression testing and implementing solutions. Solutions will often require coordinating work with other colleagues on the same team or with other teams.
o Skills: SAP MM and/or SD modules, analytical/troubleshooting skills, interpersonal/communication skills, initiative and ability to learn new things quickly are required. ABAP skills (particularly debugging) are strongly desired. Agile, Kanban and UCD skills are desired.
o Qualifications: A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, IT or a related field and SAP training for the MM and/or SD modules are required.
o Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience supporting SAP MM and/or SD modules is required. Downstream trading (ETRM) experience is desired.
o Location: The position is based in Spring, TX (just north of Houston). Some of the team members and users are located in Spring, but the position is part of a global (virtual) team that supports a global system/user base. The expectation is that the candidate will be present in the Spring office each day.
