The Security Developer’s responsibilities will include analyzing software designs and implementations from a security perspective, identifying and resolving security issues. In this role, the Security Developer, will perform the appropriate security analysis, implement defenses and countermeasures at each phase of the software development life-cycle to result in robust and reliable software. Some of the main duties will include developing the authentication and authorization layer between client applications and server-side resources such as APIs. The Security Developer will work in a team with the back-end and front-end developer to ensure that the appropriate security measures are implemented in all layers of the application.  

Required Skills and Experience:
 
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET Framework 4+, .NET Core 2+, ASP.NET Core development using C#.
• Proficiency with OAuth 2.0 protocol.
• Proficiency with OpenID Connect framework.
• Knowledge of securing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Angular 2+ framework security features.
• Knowledge of Azure web application hosting.
• Knowledge of Azure AD authentication.
• Knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization.
• Knowledge of cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Ability to read and design UML diagrams.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio and Git.
• Create self-contained, reusable, and testable methods and class libraries.
• Write comprehensive e2e unit tests.
• Strong code documentation skills.
• Actively seek new programming knowledge.
• Self-motivated and directed, with good attention to detail.
 
Required Education and/or Credentials:
 
• BE or BS degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Developer with strong understanding of software architectures, theories, principles, and practices.
• 1-2 years of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• 3-5 years of ASP.NET, C#
• 1-2 years of SQL Server experience
