Modis is seeking to fill a Senior Cloud Engineer Specialist- (WaaS environment) job for a major and entrepreneurial client. The successful candidate will:

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Engineer Specialist- (WaaS environment) job include:
 
Will serve as the highest level of escalation in the general support group by providing guidance to junior Cloud Specialists and working on the most difficult cases produced by a massively multi-tenant WaaS service.
Job Requirements
Currently we are seeking candidates with a strong background in Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Desktop and Server systems, Remote Desktop Services, and Office 365. Candidates should have significant experience with SMB and enterprise IT systems and be eager to learn new technologies in a fast-paced technology company. Desired traits include a detail-oriented nature and customer focused attitude. Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills are required. Must be able to recognize, research, isolate, and present a resolution to the reported problems. Must be able to communicate with interdisciplinary teams both internally and externally.
 
 
 
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive technical experience supporting Microsoft systems, Office365 and a strong computer operations background.
- 3+ years of direct administration of Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Infrastructures
- 3+ years of direct system administration of various business support technologies such as network, backup, security and protection, patching, and monitoring.
- 1+ years of project engineering, designing and deploying solutions.
- Experience installing and supporting various software applications, especially end-user facing business applications.
- Team Lead or Project Management experience favorable
- Ability to analyze, debug, and solve complex technical problems across multiple technical disciplines.
- Must have strong desire to learn and grow technically and professionally.
- Positive personality and the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information, and capable of writing documentation on network infrastructure.
- Ability to actively listen to user problems and convey commitment toward finding a timely resolution of the situation.
IT Certifications: (Current certification or ability to obtain one certification within six months):
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)-Preferred but not required
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Presents clear and consistent customer experience for each call, using verbiage that is, when appropriate, easily understood by non-technical customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Objectives (SLO) via regular follow-up on escalated issues when appropriate.
- Appropriate classification of complex technical issues.
- 100% documentation of calls logged / calls received, and any work performed.
 
 
Hours of Work
- Minimum requirement to be in attendance during the business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm or 11am to 8pm, Monday through Friday. Also required to attend the company meetings and any Departmental meetings that may deviate from regular business hours. These hours may be adjusted per the needs of the department.
