A Senior Assistant Computer Support Representative job in Plano, TX is available through Modis. In this role, our client is a fortune 500 company with room for growth and stability. We are looking for someone who is smart, dependable, driven and have a strong interest in an IT role.
 
Senior Assistant Computer Support Representative job responsibilities include:
 
• Provides technical support to users for moderately complex computer related technical problems on a primary account
• Acts as customer service lead/account specialist
• Provides back-up assistance on other accounts
• Answers help desk telephones for assigned account(s) and responds to moderately complex customer inquiries to ensure customer needs are met
• Assists the customer in resolving complex technical problems on a primary account by providing guidance regarding software and hardware problems
• Resolves or refers highly complex technical problems as appropriate
• Follows up with customers to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved within the contracted or agreed upon time frame
• Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation
• Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are successfully resolved
• Analyzes and evaluates inquiry/problem reports and makes recommendations to reduce help desk call rates
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Need experience supporting the following issues: iOS, Microsoft Office365, Microsoft Windows, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with the company's hardware, software and equipment products
• Experience working with customer technology and support requirements
• Experience in desktop support for pc’s, laptops, software, hardware, printers, and related equipment
• Experience in Firewalls and network support
• Experience with Active Directory is preferred
• Experience using ticketing systems
• Good interpersonal skills to resolve field support problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
