Senior Network Engineer job in Omaha, Nebraska
 
Modis is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a great client of ours in Omaha, NE. They are seeking a senior Network Engineer who has an extensive Cisco background working with routers and switches and has handled senior level security responsibilities as well. If you enjoy working in past paced environment and are comfortable “wearing multiple hats,” this is the position for you!!
 
Required Skills:
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification desired
• Minimum of five years’ network engineering experience. Desirable experience will include the following: LAN/WAN in a Cisco environment, routers, and multi-layer switches; multi-platform security devices, HP & Dell routers and switches and Meraki Wireless experience
• Experience managing 24x365 environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure, function and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Work occurs in a normal business environment but the requirements of the job will necessitate being available to support critical systems 24x365
