Modis IT and Engineering currently has a Job position available for a Sr. Program/Project Manager. This Job opportunity is located in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This will be a contract position till June of 2018 however there is a possibility this position being contract to hire but nothing is promised. This position can pay up to $85.00 per hour depending on years of experience.

General Description:

The EPMO Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for providing program and project management services for complex, corporate-wide programs and initiatives within the company. He/she will also be the primary high-level owner and communicator regarding these programs. The role will be responsible for managing key Customer Experience projects including establishing governance, communication requirements, project monitoring & control, defining project objectives; identifying, assessing & managing risks, and aligning leadership support. Will need to use Lean Six Sigma and other CI tools as part of the assessment and implementation processes.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Executive-level communications of program and individual project status.
Program strategy, leadership, and direction.
Project management for all sizes and types of projects.
Preparing & managing project budgets
Maintain senior leader / stakeholder alignment to projects
Create and track project plans to completion
Lead project meetings to collect status and drive actions to completion
Conduct project planning workshops to create project charter, lock scope, identify project deliverables, create project schedule and identify critical path.
Mentoring other project managers and project analysts

Responsibilities:

Knowledge/Experience/Education:

Required:



5+ years Program Management experience
3+ years consulting experience with major firm, or equivalent
2+ years’ experience managing complex corporate-wide major programs/initiatives for large organizations
2+ years Continuous Improvement and/or Lean Six Sigma experience in non-manufacturing applications
Experience managing customer-facing initiatives
Experience managing process-related projects
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Project Management Tools (MS Project, SharePoint, etc.)
Workshop design and facilitation experience
Willingness/ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred:



7+ years Project/Program Management experience
Experience with “Customer Experience” initiatives/organizations
Marketing background/ knowledge
PMP/PgMP Certification
Master’s Degree or MBA
Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt or similar certification
Management Consulting skills
Change Management
Interdependency Management
