The Project Manager will help plan and deliver frameworks, platforms, and services in support of the client's portfolio in their applications. This includes all aspects of the project, from initial planning to final delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership and innovation, with the technical aptitude to effectively lead project teams within the Agile Scrum methodology.  
 
Responsibilities:
• Oversees the development
• Completes end-to-end project management including release planning, delivery, monitoring progress, and reporting
• Identifies functional and technical linkages across the organization for inter-departmental collaboration
• Develops appropriate processes and roadmaps including technology, hiring plans, training requirements, and staffing
• Interacts with customers and other departments to understand or negotiate information on projects/products and development activities
• Contributes to product architecture and functionality decisions
• Reviews project milestones, deliverables, and quality of teams to identify risk and mitigation
• Identifies risks and defines mitigation plans
• Resolves escalated impediments, facilitates cross-team communication to resolve impediments when needed, and in some cases, escalates the impediments to get them resolved
• Contributes to quality metric definition
• Reviews quality metrics and determines remediation plans
• Ensures teams follow and adhere to Agile development processes and standards
• Provides feedback to managers and architects on career path, and guides them in continuous development and learning
• Guides direct report managers in coordination and facilitates decision making
• Conducts appraisals, provides feedback, and handles work allocations for direct reports, and approves the same for indirect reports
• Uses expert people management skills to attract, motivate, and retain talent
• Recognizes, addresses, and escalates personnel-related impediments of the team
• Keeps expenses within budget
• Provides budget input for capital expenditure and operational expenses of the team
• Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact
• Aligns the team to work towards department goals
• Advises senior management on specific project issues
• Leads teams that include senior architects and other resources not in their reporting organization
• Develop and guide technical delivery (architect, design, and/or code) of the canonical data model
• Work as part of an Agile team and participate in roadmap discussions to provide direction, priorities, guidance, and oversight
• Develop and maintain a formal description of the entity models and data structures in accordance with standardized modeling practices
• Interact with multiple project and solution teams across the portfolio for the development of data models
• Help to define the canonical model process, standards, and tool sets
• Ensure the governing standards for data model development are adhered to and initiate opportunities to further improve
• Work with stakeholders and development teams to ensure the solutions are working as expected and business value is being provided
• Work with customers to understand their integration requirements, acting as a trusted advisor as part of problem solving
• Provides guidance, feedback, coaching, and development experiences to the team for improvements
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Seven or more years of data architecture experience (modeling, solution design, integration)
• Two or more years of Supply Chain domain knowledge experience
• Experience leading large scale initiatives across multiple areas/projects
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams
• Broad understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), integration approaches and transports, and knows how to apply them to the development of canonical models and workflows
• Understands advanced data object modeling techniques and patterns, such as methods and approaches for customizing canonical models
 
Highly Desired Skills and Knowledge:
Familiar with various industry governing bodies such as GS1, OAGIS, and ARTS
Experience with Agile development (Scrum or Kanban)
Ability to pick up new technology quickly
Experience working with customers to understand their integration/data model requirements
Good analytical and communication skills
Communication & stakeholder management skills
