Modis is seeking a Service Desk Manager for a job in Elizabethtown, KY 42702. The Service Desk Manager will lead and manage a team of 5-6 help desk employees to support about 2,600 internal employees with their PC’s.
 
Key duties to include (but not limited to):


  • Guide, mentor, coach 5 Help Desk employees to support 2,600 employee’s with PC/laptop, phone, application issues
  • Manage 3rd party vendor for after hour/weekend support to meet SLA’s.

 
An ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years directly managing help desk/customer service personnel (hiring, firing, promoting)
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing systems (use Remedy)
  • Very adept technically of answering questions on Active Directory, MS Office Suite, connectivity, phones
  • Education: Bachelor’s is highly preferred but not required
  • Certifications: ITIL is highly preferred but not required
