Modis is currently hiring for a Software Engineer for an Upstream Research software projects. Closely engaged with the customer, the candidate in this role will participate in all aspects of application development:
o Requirements gathering
o Development
o Testing
o Deployment
o Ongoing support
 
Work in an Agile environment (review progress, assign work, share knowledge, adjust team member's workload, discuss issues, anticipate problems and plan for upcoming work activities). Participate in planning and prioritization of the team’s work activities to meet goals and timelines.
 
Work with Product Owners and other developers on requirements for new development and upgrade requests to the team's software portfolio. Identify issues, communicate in a timely manner to supervisor and partner organizations, and work to progress general interest solutions.
 
Mandatory Technical Skills:
• Proficient in C#
• Proficient in WPF
• Proficient in Unit Testing
 
Optional Technical Skills:
• Basic in C++
• Basic in Python
• Basic in Matlab
