THIS IS A CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
 
This solution consultant position will provide complete Technical analysis and design support, requirements documentation. This position will provide documentation and analytical support.
 
Essential Functions:
• Create and maintain 36-month roadmap for system hardware / software, and security updates, with estimated costs.
• Coordinate with Application Support Group, Infrastructure Management Group, Application Development Support to map and plan the Pharmacy systems upgrades, replacement, costs through 2021.
• Support Project Manager to create 2019 estimated budget for system maintenance, and provide 2020, 2021 high level estimates for same.
• Business and technical analysis and design support.
• Development of Requirements documentation.
• Development of Logical Solution Design document.
• Act as consultant and provide information for the Physical Solution Design.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Provide Technical Support.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
 
Required Experience:
• 10 Years of IT experience in Healthcare industry.
• A minimum of 3 year of experience with support, and strong system analysis and design skills; with proven experience in the Healthcare industry.
• Experience in writing functional and technical requirements documents, and the development of Solution Design.
• Oracle and IBM AIX system upgrade planning experience
• Experience with Technical vendor release planning for Oracle, IBM system/OS software (WAS, WMB, Exadata, AIX), hardware and security certificates.
• Upgrade roadmap creation, maintenance experience
• Experience planning complex system upgrade paths for multiple large distributed systems.
• Experience working in a large matrixed IT organization
• System Planning
• Budget Cycle experience
 
Preferred Experience:
• Experience writing requirements and providing solution design and logical solution design.
• Experience with traditional IT project desired.
• Experience with Enterprise Change Management applications (Remedy) software.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Technology desired.
 
Skills to be successful in this role:
• Healthcare experience in developing requirements and logical solution design.
• Develop design and Identify design interface issues.
• Identify risks of design of interface and overall design.
• Create management reports and dashboard reporting.
• Demonstrate ability to independently develop work products.
• Demonstrate ability as a functional expert and a technology expert.
• Demonstrate communication skills with a variety of technical, clinical and management skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility and effective communicator.
• Ability to integrate with project team.
