Modis is seeking a SQL Analyst for a job in Louisville, KY 40222.
The SQL Analyst will be responsible for creating triggers, stored procedures, queries for various groups. Eventually you will grow into the role and help with the design, development and implementation of ETL processes. The SQL Analyst will use having a solid understanding and knowledge of SSIS. As the SQL Analyst your key duties will include:
• Work with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and initiatives.
• Develop processes based on technical specifications and development standards.
• Perform unit testing on all development.
• Write clear and concise system documentation.
• Implement automated processes whenever possible.
• Monitor job performances to ensure processes run according to schedule and troubleshoot / resolve issues as needed.
• Identify potential efficiency improvement opportunities.
• 2+ years of solid experience developing with T-SQL creating triggers, stored procedures, queries.
• Experience programming Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (2012 and/or 2014 is a plus), with T-SQL and SSIS packages
• Knowledge of database design for MS SQL Server.
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC & Agile
• Experience with report designer tools such as Tableau or MS Reporting Services is a plus
• Experience building ETL processes that run very efficiently on large, relational MS SQL Server databases.
• Solid Understanding of relational database design and data warehousing concepts.
