Modis Burbank is currently seeking Programmer Analyst for a client in the San Bernardino area. This is an opportunity to be in a lead role working on multiple projects in a very dynamic environment.
 
Sr. Programmer Analyst with a solid background with SharePoint.  The position will participate in Application Development Projects and at times may lead projects.  They will help direct and participate in the daily maintenance, upgrade and administration of departmental Microsoft SQL Server Database environment and SharePoint environment.

 
Responsibilities
The Senior Programmer Analyst will serve as a lead Developer and at times a Project leader. This position may be required to serve as an administrator for SharePoint, Microsoft Office SharePoint server, SharePoint Business Intelligence and SQL Server Database environments.
 
Tasks will include:


  • Maintenance, support, design, development and implementation tasks.
  • Programming assignments.
  • May serve as a project lead for Application Development projects.

 
This person should be fluent with:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MVC
  • SSIS
  • SSRS
  • TFS

Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration and SQL Server instances.
  • Experience with Workflow development, using the MOSS object model, SharePoint Designer, and Workflows.
  • Ability to create clear and concise process documentation.
  • Troubleshooting, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with portal site customization, including setting up securities, designing site structure and content types.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Technical awareness of Enterprise Content Management Systems.
  • Experience with Web Front End servers, Index servers, Search Servers and Central Administration
  • Experience working with Team Foundation Services (TFS).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence integration within SharePoint including SSRS, SSAS, PowerPivot and Excel calculation services.
  • SharePoint migration experience a plus.
  • Experience with Metalogix software suite for SharePoint Administration, Analysis and Migration a plus.

 
Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 3 years high level Programming experience using Visual Studio.Net, ASP.Net and C#.
  • Minimum of 1 year SharePoint Administration and Developer experience <specify versions>.
  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other scientific or technical discipline or related field is desired.
