This is a senior development position in the Information Technology Development group and this position will be responsible for the development and customization of business applications. This person will work with other development team members, and may lead development, on projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop and deploy programs in a variety of .Net environments
Develop databases and queries in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL
Follow personal, department, and team practices for ensuring quality releases to customers
Create and maintain documentation, contribute to team knowledgebases, and comment code
Assist and provides guidance to other developers in the development of complex programs
Maintain existing applications and databases, respond appropriately to critical failures
Participates in aspects of consulting, systems analysis, and systems design
Learns user functions and business processes to the extent required



Experience C# Coding

Exposure to Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) coding and concepts considered a plus

Exposure to Team Founding Server considered a plus

Visual Studio

Experience working with Visual Studio 2015 IDE


Understanding of testing concepts (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance)

Experience writing coded tests

Team \ Communication

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Comfortable working in a task-based\agile environment

Ability to understand and follow coding standards

Ability to implement based on UML design artifacts (sequence diagrams, component diagrams, class diagrams)

Ability to accept and offer constructive criticisms

SQL Server

Understanding of relational database concepts

Experience with common TSQL commands and queries

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) considered a plus.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or ten to twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
