Modis is currently hiring for a Sr. Testing Advisor in North Houston. Our client is a global leader within the oil and gas vertical.  
Job responsibilities:
• Accountable for ensuring TEST is fully integrated into the EMIT Strategic Reassessment deliverables related to automation and end to end defect monitoring and root cause analysis
• Tools include HP ALM, MS TFS, MS Visual Studio, Tricentis Tosca, SAP Solution manager
• Advisor will have accountability to TEST Process Supervisor for incorporating a seamless approach to testing for the customers
• Opportunity to gain expertise with testing processes and tools that will greatly expand testing capabilities and enable Applications to start putting DevOps into practice
• Key initiatives will include integrating build and test for Dev Ops deployment, leading the automation cause, and assisting with the end to end view on defect root cause analysis
• Accountable to evaluate and implement processes and tools and collaborate with the TEST LT
• Establish operating standards & best practices that bring clarity and simplicity to the usage of processes and tools from Build through to Deploy
Job Related Experience:
• SAP and Non SAP background and Technical aptitude needed
• Testing experience mandatory with a preference for SQE certification
• Ability to work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals while maintaining standards; ability to build and maintain effective collaborative working relationships
• Self-directed with a high degree of initiative, ability to perform with minimal oversight, and accountable for all work assigned
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all level of the organization and 3rd party vendors
• Detail oriented/strong analytical skills
• Strong oral presentation skills, outstanding time management skills, skilled in consulting and establishing credibility / trust with customers, ability to handle multiple priorities, able to adapt to change, analytical problem-solving skills, and ability to handle customers effectively
• Experience teaching and or mentoring team members on process and tools
