An Electronic Installation Technician job in Louisville, KY is available courtesy of Modis on a contract-to-hire basis. To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working with electrical components or have a strong educational background. In this position you will be installing and troubleshooting electrical components in various types of vehicles. You will be installing lights, antennas, brackets, sliding shelves, mobile vehicular repeaters, and data modems.

Electronic Installation Technician job responsibilities include:
- Installing and troubleshooting communication systems in public safety emergency vehicles, such as ambulances, police cars, and school buses
- Installing public safety lights, antennas, brackets to hold lap tops in vehicles and sliding shelf in trunks to hold public safety equipment, mobile vehicular repeaters, data modems

- Previous experience installing electrical components
- Must be able to work in tight spaces within vehicles
- Must have a clean driving record, clean criminal check (no felonies) must be able to pass Homeland Security check
- CET certification considered a plus
- Experience installing audio or stereo equipment is a strong plus
