An Structural Designer job in downtown St. Paul, MN is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. In this role you will work with Architects and Engineers during the preparation of innovative design solutions for their client companies. Primary responsibility will be utilizing AutoCAD and SketchUp 3D software to create construction documents for commercial and industrial buildings and assist with project administration, . This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position and located in downtown St. Paul.
Structural Designer job responsibilities include:
• Preparation of architectural conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents
• Ability to work and balance simultaneous project assignments.
• Previous experience working effectively within a team of architects, and engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Technical Associates Degree in Architectural or Structural Drafting/Design, or BS Architecture, or B. Architecture
• 3-years minimum working with facility construction documents within a architectural or architectural engineering firm
• Proficiency with AutoCAD. SketchUp a plus
