A Substation Project Manager job in Amarillo, TX is available courtesy of Modis Engineering and Technology. A BS in Business or Engineering Preferred with a minimum of five years Utility experience preferred. You will be Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, projects that are small to moderate in scope, risk, and/or organizational span, including subprojects of larger, more complex projects. You will also manage multiple projects and orchestrates the results to achieve a broad program goal. Plan and implements schedules and monitors program from inception through delivery ensuring all deadlines are met. Define and reports program status, development issues and success metrics. Identifie and monitors areas of risk. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve cost, performance and schedule. Manages to budgets. Facilitates communication and coordination among projects. Manages stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal process and practices impacting component projects or overall program.

Substation Project Manager job responsibilities include:
• Project coordination from start to end
• Project scope verification
• Overall budget monitoring
• Transmission Hub Team Initiatives a. Repair vs. Replace Decision Making Initiative
• Substation System Performance -,Provide local coordination to address performance and reliability issues,Provide awareness to local outage events, Act as SSP local contact to maintain communication with Subs O&Msibility

Qualifications:
• HS Degree Required - BS in Business or Engineering Preferred
• Five years Utility Experience Preferred
• Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel Required
• Travel 20% required
