    Manage day-to-day operations of Storage environment. Conduct daily operational procedures in the SAN and storage management environment. Document procedures for daily operations. Perform technical configuration changes to support the DR site. Understand and make configuration changes to the BCVs at the DR site as needed to support DR Tests. Storage Provisioning. Configuration Management, including Server Connectivity. Advise on physical planning issues. Assist with host configuration to enable server connectivity to the SAN. This position will support a fast pace 24x7 automated prescription fulfillment environment. The focus of this position will be to provide production and project support which will require both technical skills and project management skills to manage not only the technical aspects of the application, but the business/client facing aspects as well. This role requires the ability to play an active role in projects, client relationships, vendor relationships, and production support.
Experience Level: 3-6 Years. Skill Set: Storage Administration. SAN technologies, Storage Provisioning, Device group manipulation of EMC?s SRDF, EMC Control Center (ECC) and EMC?s StorageScope.
Knowledge of:

  • Systems Administration domain.
  • Role will be business/client facing to define requirements, coordinate system enhancements, support software releases.
  • Technical skills required (for 2nd level support purposes – not development level work).
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Wintel environments
  • This position will not perform any major development type work.
  • Responsibilities will also include:
  • Compliance investigations (research into logfiles, or data as needed).
  • Minor Reports development (SQL)
  • QA Testing of vendor supplied application changes
  • Software release support – Manage vendor releases into non-production, testing, and production.
  • On-Call Production Support.
  • Business/Client liaison – document business requirements, translate to technical requirements for vendor development.
  • Change Management.
  • Hours will be Monday – Fri 8am – 5pm (40 hours). Weekend and after-hours work will be required as needed for projects, or production support.
  • Travel may be required
