Top Fortune 500 American brokerage and banking company looking to fill a Systems Administrator job in Phoenix, AZ.

  • Responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers.
  • Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access.
  • May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting).
  • Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem.
  • Must also have knowledge in systems design and configuration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
  • This position will support our Tripwire infrastructure and related configurations.
  • Tripwire or similar experience would be an asset, but solid SA experience with Linux and/or Windows systems should provide a sufficient basis to pick up the needed skills.
  • The position will also require a fair amount of process, administrative, and communication tasks supporting audit requirements.
