Systems Analyst with Web Support/Ecommerce Systems experience - Conshohocken PA
 
Modis has an immediate need for a Systems Analyst with Web Support/Ecommerce Systems support for a 1 year contract to hire opportunity with our direct client in the Conshohocken PA area.   You will be responsible for researching and triaging website issues of varying complexity levels.  Working closely with internal and external technical staff on issue replication, root-cause analysis, profiling, and ultimate remediation.  This is a great opportunity to work with an excellent company!!!  Please apply now for immediate consideration.
 
Required Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in software development or support, ideally with eCommerce Systems.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with J2EE/Java/Javascript.
• Experience with onsite search tools such as SOLR.
• Working knowledge of general website architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux based operation systems.
• Knowledge of website caching – Websphere Dynacache, Akamai, etc.
• Knowledge of DB2 databases and application development on such platforms.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ and/or MS BizTalk.
• Experience with automated job scheduling (QuickBuild and Cron is preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and easily able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal.
 
Responsibilities:  
• Perform in-depth research and analysis around website issues of varying complexity levels.
• Work closely with first-line support personnel and end-users as needed to understand full scope of support case(s) and steps-to-reproduce.
• Perform detailed root-cause analysis and partners with technical staff in determining needed remediation.  
• Engage with third-party vendors as needed related to support cases.
• Assist and/or lead data analysis and cleanup activities – often leveraging SQL.
• Partner with Development and QA staff around testing (unit, functional, and integration) associated with issue remediation activities.
• Provide training and support to other support and technical staff as needed.
