Job title: Systems Analyst I
Our client, a highly successful financial services company, is seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract to hire opportunity
Must have:

  • AWD coding and support experience
  • DB2 SQL (or Oracle)
  • Exposure to Web Service Calls (SOAP and RESTful)
  • Experience of XML based data transactions, FTP and Middleware concepts and J2EE Architecture
  • Programming languages: JAVA, Java Script, VB Script, SQL (MySQL, DB2 and Oracle)

Other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of technical IT work experience
  • Basic knowledge of software development concepts and methodologies and development languages and methods based on academic preparation.
  • Basic knowledge and application of various software development life-cycles and techniques (e.g., traditional, iterative, agile)
  • Good interpersonal / relationship management skills, able to foster working relationships within the team, across IT and with business colleagues
  • Knowledge of business and technology practices and trends
  • Good influencing, negotiation and elicitation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptible and flexible
