Our client is looking for a Technical Account manager who has strong experience in technical support and quality assurance. This individual should be well-versed working with vendors including a strong knowledge of products and services, building relationships and resolving technical issues. Our client is looking for an individual who has merchant experience, payment/financial experience and also a technical background.

Technical Support and Quality Assurance
The PayPal Merchant Technical Support and QA team serves as a technical expert for PayPal's products and services and is able to identify integration issues for the Merchants in their portfolio.  The TS&QA team is responsible for providing technical services to their accounts through the length of the relationship. Leadership and adaptability are a key component to this position as it will require building strong relationships across the organization and being able to take the lead as the technical expert.
• Works directly with developers, merchant, and internal teams to provide proactive and reactive support.
• Has such a deep granular knowledge of the integration of their Merchants, is able to analyze and solution integration and process improvements for their Merchants.
• Is always looking to exploit optimization improvements and execute with the Merchant.
• Conducts test scenarios for technical issues with code, software and endpoints.
• Communicates major technical issues to merchants in your portfolio.
• Identifies irregularities in functionality and unexpected behaviors with PayPal products and services.
• Develops and conducts demos of PayPal product functionality.
• Participates in the development of tools, systems and processes to improve product supportability.
• Ability to diagnose and identify issues with API’s, Code, Services, and Network connectivity.
• Test, evaluate and develop training for new feature as needed.
• On call rotation responsibilities.
Technical Competencies:
• Strong understanding of PayPal’s checkout products, serving solutions, reporting solutions and other products that our merchants and internal partners use.
• Experience with Software Application Debugging and troubleshooting
• JavaScript experience required
• Experience with Web Services, SOAP, REST
• Understanding of basic SQL Commands
• Solid Understanding of Firewalls, proxy, HTTP Errors, server side errors, TCP/IP
2+ years Technical Experience.
Previous account handling experience preferred.
