Technical Systems Analyst (IT Collaboration Support Analyst)
 
Google Suite not required although any other Collaboration Suite such as Sharepoint, SFDC,  Docusign, Zoom or Microsoft Office Suite.
 
Overview
Looking for an Technical Systems Analyst (IT Collaboration Support Analyst) to support its global organization.
 
Responsibilities
• Gather requirements from the business regarding new initiatives using Google’s G-Suite applications.
• Provide technical guidance and assist with implementation and application of G-Suite products to deliver highly functional solutions that enhance user efficiency.
• Provide daily operational support for Google related requests using our ServiceNow case management tool.
• Focus on transitioning business processes from legacy (Lotus Notes) to G-Suite products or other new applications with minimal transition impact.
• Utilize “user first” thinking to understand the user’s needs, workflows, collaboration needs, and their readiness to transition from Microsoft Office Suite to the Google G-Suite while challenging them to speed this adoption.
• Work with Facilities departments globally to help design and document standard meeting room functionality to maximize new audio and video conferencing technology.
• Conduct technical analysis, design, and testing with emerging collaboration solutions.
• Partner with other global IT Infrastructure teams to insure solutions follow Global IT standards and comply with Information Security directives.
• Work collaboratively with vendor partners to understand product roadmaps and rollout plans, new features, and help align those to our own emerging business needs and delivery roadmaps.
• Document procedures, work instructions, and user guides for the Service Management Organization to assist users with related incidents and service requests.
• Understand Global IT’s commitment to service–oriented support and our prime objective to deliver continual service improvements.
• Draft communications to inform regional IT Support groups as well as the global user community of upcoming changes and/or enhancements that will impact our collaborative services.
 
Qualifications
• AA or BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or Related Business Function.
• 5+ years working with IT systems in a large IT organization responsible for providing IT services and process improvement.
• 3+ years assisting internal business teams with collaboration using Google G-Suite Products in an enterprise setting (>1000 employees).
• 3+ years providing operational support for an IT application, service, or specific hardware using the web-based ServiceNow case management tool.
• 2+ years using Google API and website development using Google sites.
• 2+ years providing user support for audio and video conferencing services and related equipment as well as cloud-based video services (Polycom Codec, CiscoWebEx, Blue Jeans, Zoom, Skype for Business).
• 2+ years in a Global organization.
• 2+ years providing technical training to internal business users.
• 2+ years writing technical procedure documents and communications for users to follow.
• Deep level of understanding of all Google G-Suite products (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Ability to seek and obtain relevant information needed by the business for decision making.
• Proven strong analytical and technical ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Exceptional written communication skills with experience in delivering enterprise-wide communication.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to deliver technical demonstrations and training; comfort in running meetings and interacting with audiences of varied sizes and seniority.
• Technical acumen to quickly learn and master new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals.
• Ability to work on assignments independently and in a team setting.
• Must be self-driven, self-managed, highly motivated and have a strong drive for results.
