A contract to hire Technical Project Manager Job in Seattle, WA is available courtesy of Modis .The Sr Project Manager is a customer facing role responsible for the entire project delivery life cycle for diverse system integration, enterprise software implementation and engineering/installation oriented project(s). The Sr Project Manager will be held directly accountable for managing all aspects of their project(s) including but not limited to:


Project Definition
Planning - including development of a Program Master Schedule and an Integrated Project Management Plan
Initiation and Start-up
On time delivery of contract deliverables
Program P&L as defined by the PMO Director and the CFO
Identifying Risk, maintaining and managing the Risk Register and development of a Risk Mitigation Plan.
Managing functional groups effectively to support Program Goals and Objectives
Identifying staffing, training and other program resource requirements.
Project Close-out

The Sr Project Manager will work directly with the customer or their representative and will report to the clientProject Manager and coordinate with internal staff, including Technical Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to develop and deliver sound requirements, designs, and solutions that are consistent with customer expectations and corporate objectives. The candidate will manage multiple projects at a time to insure on time delivery, within budget and meeting the contractual quality requirements. The Sr Project Manager must be able to establish a solid relationship with the customer and be experienced at solving problems and providing value-added solutions. The Sr Project Manager will require a technical background in order to understand and assist in troubleshooting problems in the customer's production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Direct and manage the development and implement of project goals, objectives, and priorities; oversee the development and implementation of required deliverables in the project. Deliver all contractual requirements on time and Budget.
Monitor project progress on a daily basis through meetings, reports and briefings provided by project personnel and by inspections of work and projects in process
Provide executive-level progress reports to both internal and customer-facing management
Plan, develop and implement operating budget(s) and monitor cost/expenditures to ensure adherence to such, as well as established project financial goals and objectives.
Lead the program team using meetings, reviews and reports with project personnel, consultants, contractors and other organizations to achieve the objectives of the project.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.


Required Experience:
Qualified candidates must have at least one (7) years’ experience in managing large enterprise IT projects, in addition to the following:
Demonstrated understanding of the following:

Project Management Office function
Public-facing customer service solutions
Coordination across multi-IT discipline departments
Project-based P&L, budget control
Can demonstrate a good understanding of project contract and requirements
Strong process, analytical and organizational skills
Hands on - willing to roll up sleeves and work on the front lines, leading by example
Strong verbal, presentation and written skills
Understanding of effective human communication, interactions and dynamics
Strong time-management skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills
Strong client relations ability up to an executive level
Demonstrated productivity in a team environment, focusing on Customer Satisfaction
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to operational excellence
Full and complete understanding of the SDLC and Agile Methodologies
Experience with other various technologies and how they integrate and or work together is a plus.
Must possess excellent computer skills-sets with the ability to create and generate multiple QA reports, proposal improvements and presentations. A strong knowledge of MS-Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word is highly desirable
