Our leading hospitality client located in downtown Chicago is currently seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager.  This person must have experience supporting Mitel PBX and RingCentral and/or other hospitality centric telephone systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with a leading global hospitality organization!
 
Responsibilities of this Telecommunications Project Manager:
• Perform analysis of hotel telecom facilities and provide recommendations for optimization of facilities (i.e. telecom audits).
• Provide telecom escalation and problem solving support for hotels on 24 x 7 basis.
• Assist in managing telecom vendors.
• Provision and support of Corporate telephone systems including Mitel PBX and RingCentral telephony solutions.
• Assist with the implementation of Hyatt Corporate telecommunications standards.
• Perform analysis of new hotel construction projects as it relates to cabling and telephone system analysis and planning. Ability to read construction plans and documents.
• Project management of new hotel telephone system installations including but not limited to PBX, voicemail, call accounting and E911.
• Provide project management of telephone system replacements at existing hotels. PBX consulting role.
• Support customers within hotels on a worldwide basis. This entails after hours support approximately every 5 weeks.
 
Minimum Requirements for this Telecommunications Project Manager:
• Knowledge of teleco ordering processes and telecommunications support protocols from a variety of providers both US based and International.
• Data networking background is preferred including VOIP experience. Familiarity with VOIP protocols and basic knowledge relating to Cisco firewalls is preferred.
• Experience with Broadsoft and other cloud based telephony solutions.
• Experience with call accounting and voicemail systems.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Adaptability to new and emerging technologies.
• Able to work independently.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the month.
