Modis Engineering is looking for a Temporary Test Technician to test and evaluate single use and rechargeable batteries. The ideal candidate will have four or more years of relevant experience, including experience with electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters, micrometers and calipers. The ideal candidate will also be certified in soldering and have experience usinga tweezer welder.

Job duties:

Test primary cells using Maccor battery test equipment, discharge using resistive and constant current loads
Generate weekly report of test status
Potential, mass and dimensional measurements of batteries
Monitor test equipment


Qualifications:

High School degree (or GED) and four plus years of related experience.
Hands on experience with electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters, micrometers and calipers
Certified in soldering
Experience using tweezer welder
