Modis is currently seeking qualified Tier 1 Helpdesk Technicians for several exciting contract job opportunities with our large client located in the Franklin, WI area.
 
Our client is a financial services, investment and retirement planning organization with more than 100 years of industry expertise, and more than 10000 employees across the US.
 
This Helpdesk Technician role will be working in a very large, high volume call center environment to provide Tier 1 customer service and technical support.
 
The Helpdesk Technicians will be responsible for the following:
- Working an 8-hour shift during daytime hours (6am – 6 pm), Monday – Friday.
- Providing phone-based support for corporate users across the US.
- Opening and managing up to 25 trouble tickets daily, using a tool like Cherwell, ServiceNow or Remedy to document troubleshooting activities and escalate as necessary.
- Supporting technical issues on Windows 7-10 operating systems, Windows software and Office 365.
- Using remoting tools like DameWare, LogMein or SCCM to remote into users workstations and diagnose issues.
- Supporting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and tablet devices.
- Offering exceptional customer service
 
Required Qualifications & Expereince
- Preferred Associate Degree
- A+ or Network+ are preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a Helpdesk role
- Excellent phone support
- Experience using helpdesk ticketing systems (Cherwell, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc)
- Experience with remoting techniques (Terminal Services, Remote Desktop, DameWare, LogMeIn, SCCM, etc)
- Excellent phone skills with the ability to troubleshoot and support customers from multiple locations across the US.
- Experience with Windows 7-10, MS Office Application
- Experience with O365 support preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Mobile phones (iPhones, Android, Blackberry)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
