Modis is seeking a Tier II Service Desk person for a long term contract job in Louisville, KY.
The Tier II Service Desk will provide 2nd to 3rd level support for Microsoft Desktop Operating systems. This includes Desktop Management and software packaging and deployment via SCCM, as well as supporting a Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environment. A successful candidate should have the following skills:

  • 2+ years as at Tier 3 service Desk supporting and imaging Microsoft Desktop.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 with the ability to troubleshoot highly complex problems escalated from level 1 and level 2 support groups.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM - ability image machines and deploy software packages/patches.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory administration including Group Policy.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix XenApp or Xen Desktop.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell, AutoIT, or other scripting languages.
