Modis is seeking a UX Designer for a long term contract job in Louisville, KY 40222.
The UX Designer will work with developers and end users on an Enterprise Healthcare Application to create the proper look, feel, and flow. An ideal UX Designer will be able to quickly translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups to create an intuitive user experience.
JOB Duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Conceive, design, prototype and create user-testing experiences
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups and present to end-users, stakeholders and development teams
  • Develop a user-centered approach to designs
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, development teams and end-users


  • 4+ years of UX design experience
  • Experience with enterprise-level applications/web design environments.
  • Solid knowledge with UX software like: Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer,.
  • Photoshop / Adobe suite skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders from the C-level to end-users to develop requirements and design intuitive user experiences
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping
  • Ability turn abstract ideas into concrete design
