**1 year contract, W2 only**

Role Summary/Purpose:
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Positions require understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).

Essential Responsibilities:

Generate value stream maps in order to create work instructions for customer critical electronic assemblies.
Creation of work instructions will involve review and understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, mechanical and soldering assembly processes, equipment and tooling, and lean six sigma.
Carry out cycle time review and validation, in order to lead and implement process improvement projects that improve product cost.
Will be expected to work with and communicate to the direct business unit as well as to cross functional teams (engineering, quality, materials, and manufacturing) to support cycle time reductions and OTD improvements.
May be required to write engineering change requests, as they relate to manufacturability, cycle time reduction, and process improvements.

Mechanical or electrical engineering (or similar) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
