Detailed Job Description:
 
This is part of a project to convert Avaya PBX to a Cisco voice system at 24 of their Distribution Centers. They are looking for contract engineers with good Cisco background who can help prepare and provide post-conversion support to these DCs as they move through their conversions
 
Qualifications & Experience:
 
•  Unified Communications – Strong knowledge & setup experience
•  Cisco Unity Connection – Strong knowledge & setup experience
•  Avaya PBX – Familiarity with general configuration. Use current PBX setup dumps to build new Cisco site settings
•  PSTN & SIP Trunking Call Routing knowledge
•  Familiar with ancillary systems like overhead paging, walkies, alarms, etc.
•  Phone & Voicemail trouble shooting experience with team members and onsite cabling vendor
•  Able to direct and troubleshooting of physical telephony wiring and cross connects
