VoIP Engineer in Knoxville, TN 
Modis is currently conducting a direct hire search for a VoIP Engineer in Knoxville, TN. Our client is seeking a mid-to-senior level engineer to join their growing, tech-focused company!                    
Responsibilities for VoIP Engineer Job:

  • Provide installation, maintenance and ongoing support of a diverse, high availability Cisco VoIP solution
  • Provide mentoring for and leadership to more junior members of team
  • Actively work with team members across the organization to identify and implement solutions
  • Help determine hardware and software needs for the network, devices and the organizationPerform cost/benefit analyses as needed
  • Routinely work with a variety of devices and systems including, but not limited to, the following: 

1) Cisco VoIP including UCCX and CUCM   
2) LAN/WAN IOS devices   
3) Cisco Wireless (Lightweight AP, WLC, etc.)   
4) Cisco IP Communicator, Unity and IP Phones   
5) Network monitoring and management tools such as PTRG Network, Monitor, HP OpenView, etc. 
Job Requirements:

  • MUST have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of Cisco-specific administration experience
