To that end, Modis currently has a DIRECT HIRE Web Project Manager opportunity available in the Manchester, NH area.

  • Candidate will sit in the Manchester office, but will travel to St. Louis 25% of the time.
  • We are looking for someone 3 – 5 years out of professional experience, that comes an environment working on web projects. This can be in the areas of Content Management Systems (CMS), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media, search engine traffic and analysis and/or working with outside vendors to deliver custom web based solutions.


  • You will be working with the Marketing teams on client projects; you will be identifying projects and managing them from end to end.
  • Your responsibilities will be managing issues/defects in web system (troubleshooting, recreating error and assigning that to a resource, follow-up with resource).
  • Work with a cross-departmental team to maintain and develop the master development and content calendar.
  • Maintain and track existing and new site defects, manage defects through resolution.
  • Work with marketing and IT to envision and define site changes, enhancements, and ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • The position will be responsible for facilitating these projects across National websites and microsites with marketing teams, IT, and outside agencies.
  • Manage the implementation of site enhancement projects, from defining required functionality, budget and timeline management, creative and technical development, deployment, usability testing and analysis, and ongoing refinement.
  • Plan site publishes and deployments.
  • Act as marketing technologist to interface with key software daily.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with project team and effectively communicate relevant project information to management, internal team, clients, and technical partners.

Knowledge & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a web-related discipline such as Web Design, Web Development, or Digital Marketing preferred.
  • This position requires a minimum of 3 – 5 years of web project management, digital project management, web user experience engineering, or web development experience in an interactive agency or similar environment.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding in the areas of digital marketing, internet technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL) and architectures.
  • The position requires strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with clients, vendors, management and other team members.
  • Must have natural collaboration skills, acting as a key liaison between the marketing and IT teams.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have experience participating in several projects simultaneously that are on diverse timelines.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills are highly desired.
  • Must be a team player and able to meet deadline requirements.
